1. Free Initial Consultation

At Crown View, we offer free onsite consultations prior to any design work commencing. We are happy to discuss your ideas and work with you to create your vision.

We pride ourselves on being informative, open and honest, discussing potential pitfalls throughout the design stage of your project, ensuring there are no unpleasant surprises at a later stage.

2. Design Stage

Following the initial consultation, having fully understood the brief, we would issue a fee proposal for the works to be undertaken by Crown View. Upon acceptance, a measured survey would be carried out, either by Crown View or a qualified surveyor, working closely with a member of our staff.

After the survey, sketch proposals are submitted to the client for review and fine tuning, where changes can be made to better suit your requirements.

3. Planning / Building Regulations

Once the design has been approved by the client, Crown View will submit the drawings to the Local Authority under a Planning Application. This process usually takes between 6-8 weeks.

When planning approval has been granted, Crown View move on to the Building Regulations Submission. This stage involves more detail and involvement from other consultants, i.e., structural engineers.

Crown View work closely with these specialists to form a co-ordinated design, ready for construction.

4. On-site Assistance

Once the drawings have been completed, our work does not stop there. We are still available to help with queries throughout the build.

Crown View understand this process can be stressful and sometimes daunting, however, we are happy to give advice and reassurance to our clients when required.
